Pedestrian Crossings

There are a number of different types of crossing.
With all crossings it is important that you look and plan well ahead. Is anyone waiting? Is anyone approaching the crossing?
Slow down sufficiently to give yourself time to assess and decide on your action. Make sure you check your mirrors as you approach. In a queue of traffic always ensure you keep the crossing clear.
Keep re-assessing as you approach in case the lights change (light controlled crossing) or someone wants to cross (zebra).
